Amid heightened forces deployment state of Jammu and Kashmir commenced Urban Local Body polls.
Poll Percentage at 3 pm as released by Chief Electoral Officer J&K
1) Jammu District – 59%, 2) Poonch – 72%, 3)Rajouri – 78%
Jammu region total percentage – 61%
The poll percentage in Kashmir region was 17.5% with North Kashmir districts – 25%.
One woman was injured after being hit with a pellet amid clashes in Bandipora.
The Overall Percentage in J&K upto 3pm was 53%.
