Pulwama gunfight: Police version
The police statement is re-produced verbatim below:
On a patrol of SFs, some firing took place at Kangan, Pulwama, in which acting swiftly SFs killed one terrorist and recovered one AK 47 and one SLR gun and other incriminating materials.
Identity and outfit of the killed terrorist is yet to be ascertained. The Operation stands concluded. No collateral damage has taken place in this episode.
A case in this regard has been registered, and investigations taken up.
