Signs of normalcy return to Valley

Srinagar: Life in Kashmir Valley returned to normal on Thursday after four days of restrictions and shutdown following the civilian and militant killings in south Kashmir on Sunday.

All business establishments, offices and educational institutions were open, witnesses said.

However, situation in south Kashmir and in central Kashmir’s Kangan continues to remain tense.

Notably , authorities have ordered that all educational institutions will open today except in south Kashmir and few places in Sopore town in north Kashmir.

Consequently, barring south Kashmir, all educational institutions across Kashmir re-opened today after four days.

Traffic was also plying normally in Srinagar, and in most place across Kashmir.
