School, colleges to open today
Srinagar: Except Shopian, authorities have decided to keep schools and colleges open in almost all parts of Valley on Thursday.
Officials said the schools and colleges will remain open on Thursday in Srinagar district.
However, deputy Commissioner Shopian Gazanffar Ali said as all the schools and colleges will remain closed in Shopian district.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla when contacted said that “except two Degree Colleges and two higher secondary schools of Sopore town, all schools and colleges will remain functional in Baramulla district on Thursday.”
Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal said all schools and colleges will reopen on Thursday.
Also, in Anantnag district, schools and colleges will remain functional on Thursday, deputy Commissioner said.
Meanwhile, the authorities in Kashmir University have decided to resume class work in the varsity from Thursday.
