Militants fire at army vehicle in Shopian

Srinagar: Militants on Saturday evening attacked an army vehicle in Shopian districtin south Kashmir.

According to sources,  militants fired many shots at a bullet proof (BP) army vehicle in Nullay Poshwari village of Shopian, however there was no loss of life or injury.

Reports said that the army vehicle was returning after winding up a checkpoint near Kennigam village, local sources said adding as it reached near Nullay village, militants fired at it from an orchard.

The army soldiers retaliated the militant fire creating panic in the area.
