Clashes erupt during CASO in Hajin
Srinagar: Clashes erupted between protesters and the government forces during a search operation in Hajin town of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday.
According to reports, as soon as a joint team of Army’s 13 RR unit, Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search operation in the village, scores of protesters took to streets and pelted the forces with stones and the forces retaliated by firing teargas, triggering clashes.
The operation was called off without any positive results for the government forces.
