Fire guts plywood factory in Pattan
Pattan: A plywood cum furniture factory was damaged in a fire mishap late last night in north Kashmir’s Pattan area.
Reports said that fire broke out in ‘Yakoot Plywood Factory’ late last night at about10.30 pm.
Although, locals doused the flames and brought the fire under control, furniture worth lakhs was completely gutted in fire.
The locals alleged that the fire tenders who were called in, reached the spot late, due to which factory got completely damaged.
The cause of fire was not known immediately officials in Police said, adding that investigation in this regard has been taken up.
