2 detained during CASO in Sopore village
SOPORE : Government forces on Tuesday detained two persons during a Cordon and Search Operation in Sopore outskirts in north Kashmir.
The duo were identified as Khurshid Ahmed Mir Son of Abdul Rashid Mir and Mehraj Ahmed both residents of Brath Kalan Sopore.
The duo were detained after government forces conducted searches in Brath Kalan village following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
Sources said that during the searches, few gunshots were heard, however no contact was established with the militants.
