‘Sacked’ Jammu medico asked to resume duties from tomorrow
Jammu: Govt on Tuesday revoked the termination order against Dr Amit Kumar who was working as Registrar at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu Department of Anaesthesia for comments that were ‘critical’ to the government.
Sources confirmed that the order has been revoked and Dr Amit Kumar has been asked to resume his duties from Wednesday.
Resident Doctors Association had threatened that it will launch a state wide agitation if the order was not revoked.
“The Principal GMC, Jammu Dr Sunanda Raina verbally directed Dr Amit to join his duty from Wednesday,” said that on Tuesday evening.
