Pertinently, government had faced strong criticism over appointments wherein Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s cousin and son of ruling PDP vice president Sartaj Madni was appointed as executive officer in KVIB, the results of which were declared recently.

The appointment created political storm and strong criticism from the dropout candidates and netizens.

Following the allegations of  procedural inadequacies in the selection process, Chief Minister had ordered a probe into the selection list.

Interestingly, minutes after the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti had ordered a high level probe into the appointments, Aroot Madni the son of Sartaj Madni had declined to accept the offer of appointment as Executive Officer from the Board.
