Search operation in Hajjin ends peacefully
Hajjin: The Cordon and Search operation launched by Government forces in Hajjin village of north Kashmir ended peacefully, police said on Friday.
Official sources said that Army and Special Operation Group of J&K Police had launched a search operation at Khosa Mohalla area of Hajin village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on early Friday after information of militant movement in the area.
“Following the inputs, search operation was launched which continued for hours while no contact was established with militants”, a police official said.
“The search operation concluded peacefully as no militant was found in the area” , he said.
Meanwhile local reports said that minor clashes had erupted in the area during the search operation.
