Militant arrested with pistol in south Kashmir: Police
Srinagar: Government forces on Friday claimed to have arrested a suspected militant and recovered a pistol from his possession in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police official said that acting on a tip-off, the forces arrested suspected militant and recovered some arms and ammunition, including a pistol, from his possession.
“Director General of Police (DGP) S P Vaid lauded forces for “good work”. “One more boy with pistol arrested in Kulgam, good work @ Kulgam Police,” he tweeted.
Pertinently, three suspected militants, were arrested yesterday along with large quantity of arms and ammunition in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
