Five injured in road mishap

Handwara: At least five persons were Tuesday injured after the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Chogul village of Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Reports said that a TATA sumo bearing registration No.JK09 1494 met with an accident at Chogul, resulting in injuries to five persons.

The injured persons were identified as Sajad Ah Magray, son of Mohd Kamal, resident of  Shadipora (Driver), Ab Qayoom, son of Habibullah Sheikh, resident of Bakihakar Handwara, Bashir Ah Bhat, son of Ab Kabir, resident of Herpora Handwara, Mohd Sadeeq Wani, son of Amber Wani, resident of Guloora Handwara and Shaib Ah Wani, son of Bashir Ah, resident of Guloora.

All the injured persons were referred to nearby Hospital for treatment.

Reports said that three among the injured persons were shifted to DH Handwara for advanced treatment.
