Authorities direct mobile companies to reduce internet speed in Srinagar

Srinagar: Following the killing of three militants including one from Soura Srinagar, authorities today directed all Mobile Operators in Srinagar to downgrade their High mobile Internet speed to 128 Kpbs.

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to avoid law and order problem.

Three militants were killed in an overnight gunfight at Hakoora area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

Police has identified the slain militants as Mohd Esha fazali@ Esha Roohullah (TuM) X-Btech student R/o Soura Srinagar, Syed Owais Shafi (HM) R/o Viloo Kokernag, Sabzar Ahmad Sofi (HM) R/o Naina Sangam Anantnag.
