GDC students start indefinite strike, demand removal of HoD
Srinagar: The students of Government Dental College Srinagar Friday started an indefinite strike demanding immediate removal of the Head of the Department (HoD) Orthodontics.
Alleging that the HoD has been been continuosly harassing the students, the entire Dental College students have started indefinite strike until the HoD is not removed from his post.
“We want the immediate removal of the HoD as he has been harassing the students” , Dr Mudasir a protesting student said.
The protesting students also demanded a formation of a student Union.
Notably Doctors Association Kashmir is also expected to hold a presser tomorrow regarding the same issue.
