Five shops gutted in Handwara blaze
Handwara: At least five shops and a sumo stand office were gutted in a mysterious fire that broke out at Taratpora market in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Following this, fire tenders were called in who with the help of locals doused the flames.
No loss of life or injuries were reported however property worth lacs was damaged.
The cause of fire was not known immediately.
Meanwhile, the victim shopkeepers have demanded compensation from government.
