Hundreds participate in last rites of slain Delina man
Baramulla: Scores of people on Thursday morning participated in the funeral possession of an elderly man who was killed after hit by a police vehicle in Delina area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to the reports, Abdul Aziz Ahangar, 65, died after he was hit by a police vehicle on Wednesday evening. He was buried amid pro-freedom and pro-Pakistani slogans.
The situation continues to remain tense in Delina, the authorities suspended the internet services and rail service in Baramulla as a precautionary measure. All the shops are closed and huge deployment of police and paramilitary forces have been put in place to avoid protests in the area.
