Clashes during CASO in Pulwama village
Pulwama: Clashes erupted on Thursday evening between government forces and protestors during a cordon and search operation in Chandgam village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Sources said that soon after forces cordoned off the area, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on them who retaliated with tear gas shelling, triggering clashes.
Earlier 55 RR and Pulwama Police cordoned off the area on specific inputs that militants are hiding there.
Search operation along with clashes, was going on when last reports came in.
