5 gamblers arrested; stake money recovered, says police
Srinagar: Continuing its drive against the social crimes, Police on Tuesday claimed to arrested 05 gamblers and recovered the stack money.
“A police party of Police Station Nishat on a tip-off raided a gambling site and apprehended 05 gamblers” police said.
“Stake money of Rs 10,694 and playing cards were recovered from their possession” police added.
In this connection case FIR 10/18 under section 13 Gambling Act was registered and investigation was taken up.
