Srinagar police busts car lifting gang

Srinagar: Srinagar police has busted a car lifting gang and arrested three accused persons involved in the crime.

Police Station  Parimpora has received constant complaints about car and motorcycle thefts since last few months. In order to crack the cases, a special investigation team headed by SHO Parimpora under the supervision of SDPO West was constituted and an investigation was started. During the course of the investigation, three accused persons were arrested and on their instances, five vehicles including four (04) four wheelers (Tata Mobile JKO5-6365, Zen DL13C 0690, Maruti JKO4-4516, Maruti JKO5-5016) and a two-wheeler (Bajaj Avenger) were recovered.

With the recovery of these vehicles, Srinagar Police succeed in solving of case FIR numbers 289/2017, 300/2017, 32/2018 and 42/2018.
