Purposeful dialogue will end insanity followed on borders: Prof Bhat

Srinagar: Muslim Conference (MC) Chief Professor Abdul Gani Bhat Tuesday said that a purposeful dialogue will end all insanity that is reflected on the borders.

According to the statement issue here, Prof Bhat asked people of Kashmir to speak in one voice and let the entire world know that Kashmiris’ want purposeful peace to live a fuller life not peace in graveyards and Kashmiri’s are no chattel to be driven anywhere powers around choose us to  drive.

Bhat was speaking to different gatherings of people at Tangpora Sumbal, Achabal Rafiabad and Tarzuwa Sopore, a spokesman of his party said.

He said that Bhat spoke to the gatherings when he was on his way to condole personally death of certain people at different places in north Kashmir.

Prof. Bhat emphasized people to speak in one voice and let the entire world know that Kashmiris’ want purposeful peace to live a fuller life not peace in graveyards adding that Kashmiri’s are no chattel to be driven anywhere powers around choose us to drive, he said.

Mentioning about the pain and sufferings people have rendered during past two and half decades Prof. Bhat said that Kashmiris’ are a self respecting community and know art of asserting as and when required.

Advising the audiences at Tangpora Sumbal, Achabal Rafiabad and Tarzuwa Sopore  Prof Bhat said that people have to rise above organizational interests or for that matter religious divergences and impress up on the leadership across subcontinent to hear the beat of Kashmiris’ hearts.

“We can’t afford a luxury of brooding over and not hatching, now is the time India and Pakistan realize that it is in the dialogue that we should seek solution to the problem,” he added.
