Government forces launch Cordon and search operation in city outskirts
Srinagar: Government forces on Wednesday launched a cordon and search operation at Mochow area of Nowgam in outskirts of Srinagar city.
Official sources said that a joint team of SOG and CRPF launched the operation following intelligence inputs about the movement of some militants in the area.
Additional reinforcement has been rushed to the spot amid reports of minor stone pelting clashes in the area. When reports last came in the searches were going on.(GNS)
