Mehbooba visits Ajmer Sharief, prays for peace in JK

Srinagar: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday visited the shrine of famous Sufi saint Hazrat Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Chishti (RA) and prayed for peace and prosperity in Kashmir.

“Returned to Dargah Ajmer Sharif to seek the blessings of Khwaja Hazrat Moinuddin Chishti (RA). Khwaja Saheb’s timeless message to us was, ‘Love towards all, Malice towards none’. Bearing this in mind, I pray for peace, prosperity & progress for all the people of Jammu & Kashmir,” Mehbooba wrote on Twitter.

The Chief Minister stayed at the shrine for some time and prayed for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of the people of the State. She also prayed for an end to the dry spell in many parts of the State.

Later, the Chief Minister interacted with a number of devotees who had come from Jammu and Kashmir and requested them also to pray for the State and its people.
