Govt suspends Tehsildar Dooru
Srinagar: Taking cognizance of an incident wherein Tehsildar Dooru was supposed to unfurl the national flag on Republic Day but the official had reportedly assigned the job to a patwari, Government Wednesday ordered suspension of the said official and has also ordered an inquiry into the matter.
“Shri Muzaffar Ahmad Malik, Tehsildar Dooru is placed under suspension with immediate effect and attached in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag,” an order issued by Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Baseer Ahmad Khan on Wednesday read.
