CM, Omar condemn killing of cops

JAMMU: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has condemned the killing of two policemen at SMHS Hospital where they were carrying a detainee for a medical check-up.

In her message, the Chief Minister described the incident as an act of cowardice which ought to be condemned by one and all.

Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed her sympathies with the bereaved families of the two cops.

Meanwhile, former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah also condemned the death of two cops in the militant action.

Two cops Mushtaq Ahmed and Babar Khan were killed when militants in order to pave the way for the release of their prisoner associate Naveed Ahmed fried upon them.

“Two J&K policemen killed by terrorists inside Srinagar’s premier hospital. Heartfelt condolences to the families of Constables Mushtaq & Babar,” Omar Abdullah tweeted.
