Traffic resumes on Kashmir highway

Srinagar: Traffic was restored on the Jammu-Srinagar highway after remaining suspended for nine hours due to landslides. 

Hundreds of light motor vehicles remain stranded at Lower Munda, Banihal railway station and Magarkote sine 9 am today after a portion of hill caved in. 

SSP highway Sanjay Bhagat said the highway was cleared off rocks and the traffic movement was restored.

Earlier, the highway was closed due to a massive landslide in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban.
