Madrasa teacher arrested on sexual assault charge in north Kashmir
Baramulla: In a bizarre episode a madrasa teacher in Nowpora Jageer village of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district was arrested on the charge of sexual assault of a boy student on last week.
The incident came into light only after written complaint was registered in Police Station Kreeri on 28/01/2018 from a student (name withheld) of Madsara Darul_Hudda accompanied by his father to the effect that on 20th December one teacher of the aforementioned seminary (Darul_Uloom) Mufti Hilal Ahmed Ganie resident of Nowpora Jageer Baramulla called a boy in his room after morning prayers and sexually assaulted him while other students were in mosque at that time taking lessons of Holy Quran Police Statement reads.
Further reads that the said accused teacher according to the complainant closed the door and forcibly made an inter course with the victim.
However accordingly case FIR No 04/18 under Section 377/506 RPC was registered in Police Station Kreeri and investigation was taken up.
Meanwhile during the course of investigation medical formalities were completed and statements of witnesses were recorded and Finally accused was put behind the bars by police.
Meanwhile officials in Police station Kreeri told that further investigation of the case is going on
