Bar Association Anantnag protest against Shopian killings
Shopian: Bar Association Anantnag today protested against the killings of Shopian, assault of students in Haryana, and rape, murder of minor girl Asifa in Kathua.
The protest was lead by Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar Advocate President Bar.
All the lawyers of Anantnag participated in the protest march from District court complex to Lal chowk .
The lawyers were chanting slogans against government machinery, armed forces and in favour of ‘Azadi’.
The president of Bar Association Fayaz Ahmad Sodagar demanded that army personnels involved in the killing of innocent boys in Shopian and injuries to scores of people be arrested at earliest and also demanded a judicial probe by a sitting high court judge .
Sodagar also demanded the arrest of real culprits of Kathua minor girl rape murder case and assault of students in Haryana. The call for protest was given by High court Bar Association.
