02 notorious drug peddlers arrested in Srinagar
Srinagar: Srinagar police has arrested two notorious drug peddlers and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A spokesman of police said that a police party of Police Station Soura headed by SHO Soura Shri Ayaz Geelani under the supervision of SDPO Hazratbal Shri Rameez Rasheed Bhat apprehended two notorious drug peddlers identified as Aarif Ahmad Mir resident of Umer Colony Lalbazar and Waseem Ahmad Dar resident of Hakeem Mohalla Lalbazar and recovered 28 bottles of codeine phosphate from their possession.
Srinagar police has registered a case FIR number 11/18 under section 8/22 NDPS and investigation was taken up, the official added.
