Burglars loot electronic store in Sopore

Sopore: Burglars looted an electronic shop during the intervening night of Friday and Saturday in downtown area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, police said.

Thieves broke into the shop belonging to Arshid Wahid Malik of Sopore and decamped with the goods worth lakhs including Samsung LED, LG ,Gas Heaters, Gas Stove, Manual 5kv transformers, Live Guard battery inverter, Inverter batteries besides number of electronic blankets.

However, Sopore police has registered a case in this regard while it also started a manhunt to nab the burglars.

Meanwhile, Traders Federation Sopore president, Haji Mohammad Ashraf Ganai said that the trade community is unsafe in the town as the Sopore administration is in deep slumber.

He said that last month more than two dozen shops were first looted then set ablaze by burglars who are still roaming freely.
