Dy speaker asks MLA Langate to join Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly
Jammu: Deputy Speaker, Nazir Ahmad Khan (Gurezi), on Wednesday asked independent legislator from Langate to join the assembly proceedings “for the interest of his people”.
“Yesterday Er Rashid sahab held protests inside House and tried to waste time of the House and I had to order Marshals to take him out but he should come and attend the House,” Gurezi said.
On Tuesday, Rasheed said he will boycott the rest of the proceedings to protest an “assault by Marshalls and non-locals”.
Rasheed was allegedly thrashed by Marshalls and was injured. He later announced boycott of the house proceedings.
