Panic gripped in Pulwama after firing

Pulwama: Panic gripped in the main chowk Pulwama area of south Kashmir when police resorted to aerial firing after their vehicle came under stone pelting.

Reports said that few youth pelted stones on a police vehicle when it got struck in a traffic jam and the cops inside the vehicle sensing trouble resorted to aerial firing , creating panic among the people.

Witnessed said that the gunshots created panic among the  people who ran for their lives. However, situation soon turned normal and  after that traffic was restored.
