Opposition corners govt over civilian killings in south Kashmir

Jammu: The opposition members of National Conference and Congress cornered government over killings in Kulgam district of south Kashmir.
As the speaker was to announce proceedings of the House, the opposition members resorted to sloganeering. The members shouted that government should stop killing.
“Everyday there is a killing in Kashmir. You should come clear on your position,” senior NC leader Ali Muhammad Sagar told the House.
Another opposition member jumped into the well of House waving a banner “stop innocent killing in Kulgam” and asked the government to issue a statement on the issue.
The members raised slogans- “innocent killing bandh karo, Qaatil Sarkar Haai haai, HR violation ko bandh karo.”
NC leader Davinder Singh Raina said if government calims of improvement in sitution, then why there is bloodshed everyday.
