Oppn stages walkout, demand statement from CM over civilian killings

Jammu: The opposition parties led by former chief minister Omar Abdullah in the state Assembly staged a walkout after they found chief minister Mehbooba Mufti was not present in the Assembly.

The opposition demanded that the Chief Minister should have appeared in the LA in the morning and expressed sympathy over the recent civilian killings in Kulgam district.

“CM should have appeared in LA in morning and expressed sympathy over civilian killing” omar said and announced the walk out.

Notably, as Omar Abdullah was speaking, Mufti appeared in the House. However, Omar led opposition left the House.
