2-day training programme for RO’s, ARO’S held
Udhampur: In order to ensure smooth conduct of Panchayat Elections-2018 in the district, 2-day training programme for RO’s and AROs was held under the chairmanship of District Panchayat Election Officer, Ravinder Kumar here on Tuesday.
DPEO directed all the ROs, ARO’s and other officers of the concerned department to work in close coordination so that the Panchayat election in the District shall be conducted successfully.
He stressed upon the trainees to go thoroughly through the instructions provided in the hand book of RO’s besides do’s and don’ts during the elections for smooth conduct of these elections.
Earlier, Deputy District Election Officer, Sapna Kotwal briefed about various preparations and activities carried out in the district for upcoming panchayat elections.
During the training session, District level master trainers gave power point presentation to the participants and asked all the trainees to make themselves fully prepared before the nomination day.
Later, DPEO, provided hand book to the trainees for self preparation regarding Panchayat election.
Among others, PO IWMP, Sushil Kesar, Election Naib Tehsildar, Abdul Latief and other officers of concerned departments besides Master trainers were present on the occasion.
