Clashes erupt during CASO in Pulwama village
Pulwama: Clashes erupted between protesters and the government forces during a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in Kareemabad village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday.
Official said that as soon as the forces started a CASO in the village early today after inputs about the presence of militants, locals took to streets and pelted the forces with stones to disrupt the anti-militant operation.
The forces retaliated by lobbing teargas shells, triggering clashes.
