Forces launch search operation in Anantnag village
Srinagar: Government forces on Wednesday launched a search operation in Gundi Jafar village of district Anantnag of south Kashmir.
Troops of 19 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, 40th Battalion of CRPF and Special Operations Group of J and K Police have sealed Gondi Jafar village and launched house-to-house search operation, following specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area, official sources said.
They said that a large number of forces have been deployed in the area and search operation was going on.
However, no one was arrested during the search operation till last reports were received. (Kashmir Wire)
