DGP flags off 108 students for 25 days tour to different States
Jammu: A tour programme organized by Sri SatyaSai Sewa Organization Puttaparthi Bangalore for a Budgam based educational trust was flagged off by Director General of Police Dr. S.P Vaid at Police Headquarters here this morning.
The 25 days long tour has been organized for 108 students including 42 girls and staff members of Spring Buds Educational Trust Ompora Budgam this organization.
The students will be visiting Amritsar, Dausa, Chandigarh, Delhi, Agra and Bangalore. Before flagging off, the DGP interacted with the students and staff members of the school.
While extending his good wishes the DGP advised the student to make best use of this tour and explore all the possible important information about the visiting places. He said India is a vast and multi-cultural country and added that this tour will give students a chance to meet new people, experience new environments and know more about diversity of the county.
The ceremony was attended by IGP Personnel, J.P Singh, IGP Headquarter, Surinder Kumar Gupta, AIG, Provision, Sheikh Junaid Mehmood, Abdul Waheed Shah, AIG building/welfare, AIG communication, Manoj Kumar Pandita, AIG Arms ammunition, Gulzar Ahmad and other senior officers of the police Headquarter.
