PDD worker dies in Sopore
Sopore: A 40 year old casual labourer of Power Development Department (PDD) died after an electric pole fell on him during repairing transmission line in Sopore outskirts in north Kashmir.
“A casual labourer died after an electric pole which he was repairing fell on him at Harwan area of Sopore. However he was rushed to Sub District Hospital Sopore where he breaths his last” AEE Showket Ahmed said.
The officials at Sub District Hospital confirmed this tragic incident and later identified the deceased as Feroz Ahmed Shiekh son of Late Ghulam Nabi Shiekh resident of Tujjer Sharief Sopore.
