DAK visits NHM employees at Pratap Park, expresses solidarity

Srinagar: Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) president, Dr Suhail Naik along with various central executive office bearers Thursday paid a solidarity visit to protesting National Health Mission (NHM) employees at Partap Park, Srinagar.

According to the statement issued here, Dr Suhail Naik along with Vice Presidents of DAK Dr Ashraf Mir and Dr Sajjad Qanungo spoke on the occasion.

Terming the protest as genuine Dr Naik stressed the Govt to issue devised action plan of regularisation policy in black & white and simultaneously issue a circular of Equal work, Equal Job Benefits as per the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court.

He while assuring full support to NHM employees reiterated that they are the backbone of health sector and DAK will be holding a symbolic protest by wearing black bands across the valley in support of NHM employee demands.

DAK stresses Govt. to resolve the grave issue of NHM employees at the earliest otherwise DAK will have to take strict measures  whose onus will lie on the Govt.
