32-year-old shopkeeper goes missing from Sopore

Sopore:  A shopkeeper  has gone missing since the last four days from north Kashmir’s Sopore.

Sources said that 32-year-old  shopkeeper Tariq Ahmad Malik son of Ghulam Rasool of Kalaroos Kupwara presently residing in Muslim Peer Sopore area where he owns a jewelry shop namely, ‘Karat Line Gold Shop’ at Chota bazaar Sopore, has gone missing since last Tuesday 27th December.

He according to family and his fellow traders has gone missing from his shop at around 07 pm in the evening since last Tuesday.

Worried about his safety the family and his fellow traders in Sopore have lodged a missing report at police station Sopore on 27th of December.

Meanwhile President Gold Smiths Association Sopore Haji Firdous Ahmad Khan said that when he along with other traders opened his shop, they found the locker inside his shop totally empty and all the  gold was missing.

 They feared that Tariq has been apparently kidnapped with gold worth lakhs.

Meanwhile Khan has sought help of the general public in tracing out the missing shopkeeper.

 “Anybody having any  information regarding the missing person may please contact Police Station Sopore” he appealed.
