Traffic suspended on Srinagar-Jammu Highway

Srinagar: Authorities have suspended traffic on Srinagar-Jammu highway on Wednesday morning after a truck loaded with apples turned turtle on the road near Banihal.

According to sources, a truck on way to Bangalore from Shopian turned turtle on the highway near Nachilana, 10 km from Banihal, early in the morning.

He said both the driver and the conductor of the truck escaped with minor injuries.

Following the incident, traffic was suspended on the highway from both the sides after the accident

Pertinently, traffic was allowed to move from Kashmir to Jammu today.
