Mirwaiz to deliver sermons on Thursday at Dastgeer Sahib (RA) shrine
Srinagar: As per the scheduled programme Mutahida Majlise Ulema patron and Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will address the faithful on the eve of the annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Syed Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) at the revered shrine at Khanyar on 28 December 2017, Thursday.
According to the statement issued here, Mirwaiz will deliver a sermon from Zuhr to ASR prayers and shed light on the life and religious contributions of the saint popularly known as Dastgeer sahab(RA).
The shrine management has already finalized the arrangements for the program and faithful have been requested to be on time to listen to the sermon to be delivered by the Mirwaiz.
