Cabinet promotes 5 IAS officers
Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir cabinet which met here on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti accorded sanction to promotion of five IAS officers, sources said.
Sources said that Shahid Iqbal Choudhary Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri, Sushma Chauhan Director ULBs, Sarmad Hafiz ME JKTDC holding additional charge of Tourism Secretary, Pervez Khateeb Commissioner Commercial Taxes and Farooq Ahmed Lone CEO J&K ER have been promoted.
They said that the promotion will take effect from 01 January, 2018.
The officers have also been cleared for Phase-III Mid Career Training Programme.
Meanwhile, sources said that the cabinet is likely to meet again on Friday morning.
