Police refutes news regarding ‘New youth Joining militancy’
Srinagar: Police on Saturday refuted the news regarding a youth who had reportedly joined the militant ranks.
A senior Police official said that youth namely Hilal Ahmad Wani who as per the news report titled “New youth joined HM militant outfit”, which claims that the youth (Hilal) has joined militancy recently, is false.
District police administration Kulgam while clarifying said that Hilal Ahmad Wani alias Maaz son of Mohammad Akram Wani resident of Machwa has joined HM militant outfit on 14-07-2015. He has done 10 2 and had later on joined PhysiotherapyTechnician Course in Jammu which he had left after joining the militant ranks.
Police has taken a serious note of the rumour mongers and strict action will be taken against them, the offficial said.
