Dead body of Jaish militant found in Tral: Police

Srinagar: Police on Saturday said that it have recovered a body of Pakistani militant from Eid Gah area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A senior police official said that some locals informed the police about the body lying in Eid Gah, Tral. Immediately a police team was rushed to the spot and recovered the body along with letter placed over his body.

According to the letter the official said that the militant died in a mine blast at Handora area of Tral. The letter, identifies the deceased as Umar from Pakistan.

DGP S P Vaid said that the Pakistani militant died while fabricating the explosive material in Handoora Tral. 

“While fabricating IED in a hideout near Handura Aripal Tral explosion took place in which one militant of reportedly JEM died whose body has been recovered by J&K Police/ SF”, DGP Tweeted.
