Forces lay siege to Kadlabal Pampore village

Srinagar: Government forces on Tuesday started a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Mir Mohalla Kadlabal area of Saffron town Pampore of South Kashmir’s Pulwama distirct.

Official sources said that government forces including 50 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, 185 Battalion CRPF and Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the area after getting inputs about the militant movement in the area.

Door-to-door searches were going on when the last reports came in.
