CASO in Shopian village

Shopian: Cordon and search operation has been started by government forces at  Ganapora village of South Kashmir’s shopian distirct.

Official sources said that government forces including 44 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, 14th Battalion CRPF and Special Operation Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police cordoned off the area after getting inputs about the militant movement.

Sources said that large number of forces have been deployed in the area and  door-to-door search operations is in progress.

Pertinently earlier same kind of operation was started in Newa Puwama and Kadlabal Pampore  which however ended peacefully.
