Cop dies in road mishap
Anantnag: A head constable of Jammu and Kashmir Police was killed today in a road misshape at Sangam on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway , police said.
The head constable identified as Yeshpal Singh, a resident of Khanpora-Sarai of Chadoora town of Central Kashmir Budgam district, was driving a Santro car bearing registration NO:JK01RE-0443 which was hit by a speedy truck near Sangam-Bijbehara in south Kashmir Anantnag district this morning.
However, the truck driver fled from the scne.
Police has registered a case in this connection. (Kashmir Wire)
