Srinagar: Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik Wednesday condemned the ‘oppression’ unleashed by Indian Army, SOG and other forces throughout the nook and corner of Kashmir. He said that this tyranny has crossed every limit now.

According to the statement issued here, the JKLF spokesman said that a delegation from Hajin Bandipora arrived at JKLF office today and informed Malik about the oppression unleashed by Indian forces in their area.

Malik said that tyrannical acts will never succeed in suppressing the voices of Kashmiris.

Delegation informed Malik about a crackdown held in Syed Mohalla Hajin today that was started by Indian forces in the morning.

They said that when Indian forces found nothing during house to house search of the whole area, they set on fire grass and other animal feed along with rice-paddy kept in houses, looted and vandalized the residential houses and property, tortured and humiliated people without the discrimination of gender and age and terrorized the whole locality.

The delegation said that during this rampage, Indian forces barged into the house of Abdul Hameed Parray and vandalized his house too.

Notably, Abdul Hameed Parray is languishing in jail from last two years and forces even did not spare his house during this reign of terror.

JKLF chairman told the delegation that tyranny and oppression will yield India nothing but shame as no nation striving for its freedom has been ever defeated by oppression and tyrannical acts of the oppressors.

He assured the delegation that these ‘gruesome acts’ of human rights abuses will be highlighted so that these are halted immediately.

Meanwhile, Malik paid tributes to Ghulam Hassan Bhat alias Yawar Khan, Ishtiaq Ahmed Bukhari @ Badshah Khan and Abdul Rashid Dar on their martyrdom day today.

Recalling the sacrifices of Yawar Khan and others, Malik said that their sacrifices will never go in vain. “These martyrs are our real heroes and we will Insha-Allah take their mission to its logical end,” he said.

A high level JKLF delegation comprising of JKLF vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Butt, secretary general Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidhi, chief organizer Siraj ud din Mir, Vice president Zone Muhammad Sideeq shah and district president JKLF Budgam Gulzar Ahmad Pahalwan today visited Wagar Budgam and expressed solidarity with Yawar khan’s family.

Leaders while praying for the heavenly abode of these martyrs also prayed for the success of their mission.
